The mission of the Coordination Office for Rankings and Protocols is to ensure that Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University’s position in national and international higher education ranking systems is determined accurately, reliably, and transparently; to carry out planning, monitoring, reporting, and evaluation processes within this scope in coordination with senior management; to contribute to the University’s institutional development by determining and updating ranking criteria and integrating them into institutional quality assurance mechanisms; to establish effective and continuous communication with national and international ranking organizations and coordinate the flow of data and information; to ensure the preparation, implementation, and follow-up of cooperation protocols conducted with domestic and international higher education institutions; to carry out official correspondence, meetings, negotiations, and related procedures concerning these processes; to analyze emerging issues, develop solution proposals, and implement continuous improvements; and to contribute to internal and external audit processes, prepare necessary reports, and evaluate practices in order to enhance the University’s visibility, recognition, and competitiveness at national and international levels.

The Coordination Office for Rankings and Protocols aims to become a leading structure that ensures Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University’s position in national and international higher education ranking systems is determined accurately, reliably, transparently, and sustainably; represents the University’s scientific, academic, and institutional reputation at the highest level; is grounded in the principles of quality assurance and institutional sustainability in higher education; contributes to University activities in this direction; and fosters institutional awareness.
Furthermore, it envisions achieving a model position in the higher education sector as a unit that effectively and efficiently coordinates cooperation processes with domestic and international higher education institutions as well as public and private sector organizations; strengthens the University’s institutional capacity by ensuring compliance with national legislation and international best practices in protocol implementation; and adopts a transparent and accountable management approach.
